Andrew is a 1 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix that needs hip surgery. He came from a litter of 11 puppies and was born without a hip socket. Aspen is an adult female German Shepherd. Donations are needed to help cover the cost of her heartworm treatment. Thanks to this treatment, Aspen will have a long life ahead of her to do the things she really enjoys - going for car rides and swimming in the lake. 8/20/10 update: Aspen has been adopted, but we still need donations to cover the cost of her medical care. Buttercup is an adult female Beagle. She was left at a local Vet hospital by her owners when they found out she was paralyzed. She has been dragging on her backside for months now trying to get around. The accident happened in November. We don't know what happened since the owners were away. We took her to UT vet hospital and they fitted her with a wheelchair that they had, but it is too short for her and now she is dragging her feet. She has sores on her feet and needs a customized wheelchair. This will cost $250 to $350.00. 8/14/10 update: Buttercup will get her new wheelchair in 2 weeks. ABOUT US

TCGC Animal League is a non-profit organization, founded in 2002. We are funded entirely by donations and rely totally on volunteers. Our pets are rescued from local animal shelters, and placed in foster homes until a permanent home can be found. Although we rescue many breeds, Bassets, Beagles, and Labrador Retrievers are our primary focus. We do not currently have a facility where these pets can be viewed, but once your application has be approved, arrangements can be made to meet the pet.
